Hi, my name is Ignatius Haryanto. Now I worked as a media researcher and journalism trainer. But before, I used to be a journalist in several news magazine; like Forum Keadilan, D&R, and Tempo. I became a member of AJI (Alliance of Independent Journalists) since 1994, although I am not the declarators.

I had written some books on journalism, social conflict, Intellectual Property issues, Media Ownership issues, and other subjects.

I would like to put some of my old writings here, in case I cannot find in my files or had been kidnapped by some virus programme. So initially, this blog is very personal in documenting all of my writings, but if you find them usefull, please feel free to read them, quote them, as long as you still give attribution to my name.
